Quinyx Founder and CEO, Erik Fjellborg, will be among the first honourees to FERD’s List, a new initiative designed to recognise entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders from across Europe.
FERD’S List, run in conjunction with JA Europe, and aims to: identify young people not only for what they have achieved, but celebrate the pathway that they are on; recognizing them for being in the moment where their potential is being transformed into greater and greater value for society.
Erik joins five other leading entrepreneurs as the inaugural honourees on the list. The panel who announced the nominees said:
“Erik founded Quinyx with the idea to develop one of the first fully cloud based Workforce Management solutions.
“Over the years Quinyx has grown to become the market leader within SaaS Workforce Management serving industries such as Restaurant, Retail, Gyms, Call Centres and Hotels. The web service today has over 250,000 active users all over the world and the business has over 100 employees spread across offices in Sweden, United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Denmark and Finland.”
On hearing the news of his nomination to the list, Erik said: “Obviously it’s a great honour to be recognised in this way and be in the company of some of the best young entrepreneurs and leaders from all over Europe.
“I’m fortunate to have an amazing team here at Quinyx who buys into our vision, not only to produce the world’s best cloud-based mobile first workforce management system, but to create a smiling workforce for all our customers.
“It’s a hugely exciting time for us, with growth in all our markets, and we’ll continue to bring a customer centric approach, underpinned by passion, quality, simplicity and innovation, to everything we do.”
The first honourees to FERD’s LIST will be celebrated during a special evening in Brussels, taking place on October 11, 2017. Read more about FERD's list here.
