Why Quinyx?
In the search for a scheduling solution, it became clear that Vapiano was in need of a flexible, intuitive and accessible program that also facilitates communication between staff. “The fact that Quinyx is entirely web-based is a major advantage,” says Christian. “It makes it easier for both the employee and manager to track changes in the schedule. After the initial demonstration, I knew straight away that Quinyx was what we were looking for. All the features we needed were there, including an internal email system and text messaging features for employee communication.”
How is Quinyx Used?
“Quinyx is used by the entire staff,” explains restaurant manager Kristofer Bremström. “One of the biggest improvements we have noticed after implementing Quinyx is that there is always a fully updated schedule available to everyone. We used to have a master schedule hanging in the staff room with arrows and dashes everywhere, which was very confusing. Now the staff handles all changes and shift swapping from home, and that saves a lot of time. I estimate that each staff member logs in to see the schedule about three times a week.”
Quinyx and the Future
“Vapiano is in an expansive phase, and we are convinced that Quinyx is going to simplify the establishment of new restaurants,” says Christian. “Administrators have an overview of multiple restaurants, allowing the management to keep an eye on scheduling and profit.”
